Lindsay Beeston continued his run of good form shaving another second from his personal best time. Perry Wyatt showed that running a marathon the weekend before is no barrier to success by breaking a longstanding personal best time. Amy Mayell also managed to record a new personal best time. The success of the free couch-to-5k course which Sandbach Striders have now been running for several years was evident at the parkrun, with Paul Morris continuing to improve on his previous 5k time. Mandy Eeles and Sandra Buckle both made their parkrun debuts whilst Tracey Hale ran the nearby 5k parkrun at Delamere Forest.
