Club Relay 2015 Results!

A huge well done to all 42 participants in tonight's club relay! There was an absolutely fantastic atmosphere on Plant Lane and it was terrific to see Sandbach Striders cheer each other on in the true tradition of the club.

Congratulations to the winning team!

David, Martin, Rick, Mo, Lynsey and Amy toast their success!

Second place!
Lindsay, Laura, Tracey, Denise and Duncan (Martin had nipped out)
Third place and now proud owners of the world's smallest box of chocolates.

Lisa, Lucy, Sarah, Janet, Ian and Terry celebrate with their fun sized choccies
...And sometimes it's not about winning by being the first across the finish line, sometimes it's about winning by being last but having the biggest smiles! A big wooden spoon round of applause to Team Spoon!

Lou, Nick, Alex, Karen and Emma (Stella had missed her curfew by this point!)
A big thank you too to all the other Striders who helped out: Jo and Cheryl for marshalling the junctions, Tom for taking photos, Catherine, Isobel, Lindsay and Jason for various organising and cheering duties and Steve for running further than anyone else on the night, despite not taking part in the relay, by running back to the Co-op to pick up some extra prizes!
