The Strider winning this weeks ‘furthest distance travelled to a
race’ award was Paul Nicholls who took part in the Marrakesh
Marathon. The race began at 8:00 in freezing temperatures but by
11:00 the temperature had reached 30 degrees. The route offered
amazing views of the Atlas Mountains, and took in the extremes of the
city, passing through the deprived areas and passing by the palaces
of the rich. Paul came in in just under 5 hours.
