Sneyd Striders Pudding Run (10 mile race) – Sunday 11th December 2011.
This 10-mile race was arranged by Sneyd Striders and was just off junction 11 on the M6. The venue was easy to find, even for me!
It was a flat course that did 2 laps along fairly quiet side roads and then through a housing estate. Not the most picturesque area but I enjoyed it.

The event was well marshalled and there was a drinks station on each lap.
Car parking was at a local school where there were adequate changing areas, showers and a baggage drop. There was also a café that served hot food and drinks before and after the event. Everyone was very friendly and most people that I spoke to had done the event before.
The race had chip timing and a goody bag at the finish.
I got a Christmas pudding, key ring, mug mat and two pieces of fruit.
It was a good race for me, as I had never run this distance before. This picture is me sprinting for the finish line to get a time of 1:39:14. Proof at least that I did it. One of the marshals even commented that I had travelled a long way (from Sandbach) to run.
